Song Title: Dancing Shoes

First Verse

A couple who are both female are getting ready to compete in a ballroom dancing competition. The band will be performing in the background on the stage.  The couple come 1st place in the competition.

Chorus

Shots of the couple being abused by strangers due to their sexuality. With close ups of their injuries and facial expressions.

Second Verse

Couple in a dark room or an abandoned place, drinking and smoking; showing their distraught and them feeling as though they are not normal.

Chorus

Talking with someone about what has happened and the issues they have faced, and realising that they are normal and that they should be proud of who they are, and stick up for their rights.

[Instrumental Break]

Close ups, long shots and mid shots showing how happy they are with each other. This will include them in an open space with bright lighting and effects to connote celebration and happiness.

Third Verse

Lastly, shots of them in an area that seems to show freedom just like in the instrumental break section. With an over the shoulder shot of them looking at a photo, shots of them holding hands. Flashbacks of what their life used to be like with be included throughout. With a final shot of them about to go in for a kiss with each other.

My shotlist gives a clear run through of the different shots that I am going and why I am going to include them. By doing this it allows more depth within my planning and allows me as an individual to fully understand and plan how everything is going to work, in order to compose a successful music video.
